Havana House History
I started smoking cigars about 15 years ago. My very first cigar was a Tony Borhani maduro churchill red label. My second cigar was shared with Pops it was the very same cigar and that was it we were hooked. My grandfather use to smoke his cigars daily (WHITE OWLS-YUK) those cigars tasted nasty but smelled great, go figure. As the years went by we talked about one day opening a shop when he retired.
We met a friend whose name is Harry Cruz(RIP)who worked at the Cigar Room in mind is full of Fort Lee, NJ. It was there we spent many evenings and became good friends with Harry and the owner, Willie Flores and his brothers. We would like to thank Willie for all his help with the ins and outs of the business.
So 5 years ago we bought a small mountain of tobacco and have spent many nights testing and smoking our blends to make sure we could give you the best possible product. We started in the galleria mall in march of 04 and in june of 05 we moved to our current location at 39 West Main St.
We were recently awarded in the Top 50 distinctive places to go and smoke in America. We are right up there with the Grand Havana Room and Club Macanudo not bad for a 3 man operation in Middletown NY. So tip your caps Orange County say hello to the Big Boys we get to stand shoulder to shoulder.
